I believe God put this on my heart. I was a poor child right here in the U.S. I know what it is like to go without a meal and to pray at 7 yrs old for God to help my family. Our sponsorship experience
My wife and I looked forward to each letter watching our sponsored child grow older. When the 2009 earthquakes hit Haiti we were so afraid and concerned for this childs welfare. We phoned Compassion and they worked very hard to find some answers for us. When we found out that she was O.K. we were so relieved. To watch her grow from a 7 yr old kid into a beautiful young lady was amazing. She has a plan for her life and an education to help her achieve her goals. We were truly blessed to help.
